The core activity of the MAXIMA Group is retail trade in food and other everyday consumer goods through physical stores and the online store BARBORA.
MAXIMA GRUPĖ, UAB is one of the largest Lithuanian retail businesses, operating in five countries – Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, and Bulgaria. Starting with a single store in Vilnius three decades ago, by the end of 2024 the company operated 1,611 stores across the Baltic States, Poland, and Bulgaria.
MAXIMA Group was one of the first in the region to launch e-commerce operations – its online store BARBORA operates in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.
The companies within the Group employ 36,000 people across the five countries. Every day, we serve over 1.6 million customers.
According to a shopper survey conducted by Dive Group, MAXIMA has provided the best customer service among retailers in Latvia for the fourth consecutive year.
According to the ranking prepared by the magazine "Wprost," STOKROTKA was recognized as one of the best employers in Poland.
The Institute for Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility awarded MAXIMA Latvia the Platinum rating for the third consecutive year according to the Sustainability Index.
According to Pricer.lt, MAXIMA LT provided the cheapest grocery basket for 11 out of 12 months.
At the Baltic Brand Awards, MAXIMA was chosen as the most beloved brand in Lithuania.
BARBORA was chosen as the most beloved online store at the Latvian e-Commerce Awards.
At the Baltic Brand Awards, MAXIMA was declared the leading brand in the retail sector in Latvia.
STOKROTKA was awarded for the best marketing campaign at the BLIX AWARDS consumer choice awards.
