In order to crystallize the business activities, Emperia Holding S.A., owned by Maxima Grupė, divests from its non-core business Infinite Sp. z o.o.  Since 2002 the company has been operating as the IT systems provider for over than 10.000 companies in both Polish and international markets.

Maxima Bulgaria, owned by Maxima Grupė, has submitted a notification to the Bulgarian Commission for Protection of Competition of entering into a long-term lease agreement regarding the rental of the stores from the local retail chain Triumph. The stores are situated in the city of Plovdiv, the second biggest city of the country.

Maxima LT and the Nordic Investment Bank (NIB) have signed a 10-year EUR 52 million loan agreement. Maxima Grupė‘s companies in the Baltics will allocate money for green investments.

Effective 16 July, Edvinas Volkas, until now head of the Maxima Grupė company in Bulgaria, has been appointed as the chairman of the board and the CEO of Maxima in Estonia. He will replace Marko Põder in that position. Peter Pavlov has been appointed as the CEO of Maxima Bulgaria.

Andrius Mikalauskas has become the permanent CEO of the e-grocery business Barbora in Lithuania and Radas, the company that owns Barbora in the Baltics. He had held the position on an interim basis since February this year. The board of Radas has also been renewed, CFO of Maxima Grupė Vitalij Rakovski was elected as the chairman of the board.
