Maxima Grupė formed new Board and appointed new CEO of the company, the position has been taken by Jolanta Bivainytė. She replaced Justas Riauba, interim head of the company. The Board will be comprised of 7 members: CEO of Maxima Grupė, heads of its retail chains in five countries and the representative of Vilniaus Prekyba, the company that owns Maxima Grupė.

Povilas Šulys has been appointed as the new CEO of the Maxima Grupė company Franmax, which provides the group’s companies with franchise and support services in the areas of IT, supply-chain and store development. He is replacing Eglė Šimė.

In 2018, Maxima Grupė’s consolidated revenue grew by 22.1 percent compared with 2017 to EUR 3.451 billion; consolidated EBITDA reached EUR 223.6 million. The Group invested more than EUR 88 million into fixed assets and opened more than 100 new stores in all markets, most of them – in Poland.

Maxima Grupė has appointed Gintaras Jasinskas as its new head of commerce. He will head the subsidiary Maxima International Sourcing, which provides agency services to the group’s retail chains in the Baltic countries, Poland and Bulgaria, develops private label brands, and engages in wholesale trade. G. Jasinskas will also continue working as CEO of Maxima International Sourcing’s Polish unit.

Justas Riauba is replacing Dalius Misiūnas in the position of CEO of Maxima Grupė. He has also been elected as the chairman of the company’s board of directors. Maxima Grupė’s board of directors is being joined as well by Vilniaus Prekyba CEO Mantas Kuncaitis.
