Continuous learning and professional development are key to successful company growth and competitive resilience. While learning and ongoing professional development practices vary across the Group's companies, the same core principles are applied to encourage our employees' professional growth. Various training methods are used across our companies, including e-learning, supervision, mentorship, in-person training, external training, and more. These methods aim to provide our employees with the resources needed to realize their potential.
In 2023, we launched the 12th short training program for managers, "STOKROTKA Manager Express" (SME). This program is designed to enhance our employees' skills and assist them in advancing to regional management positions in retail operations. The program lasts for five months. Notably, 50% of participants from the previous program were successfully promoted.
The "Greičio valdyba" employee development and growth program at MAXIMA Lietuva, which had been running for over three years, was fundamentally restructured. In 2023, the program was revamped, and the "Career Center" was established. The "Career Center" is a functioning store where ambitious participants can understand the intricacies of the retail business and develop the skills needed for a rapid career advancement. The program is open to both internal and external participants.
In 2023, we continued our initiative to offer language training for colleagues of diverse backgrounds and nationalities who wish to improve their proficiency in the state language.
