In the beginning of January, MAXIMA GROUP, UAB has selected media planning agencies in three Baltic countries. The winner in Lithuania of the tender announced by the holding company is Adcom UAB, in Latvia - Alfa Baltic SIA, and in Estonia – Carat. These companies will provide their media planning, analysis, strategy planning and advertising purchasing services.
"The whole business has faced cost cutting and increasing operational efficiently in the past year. In the time of recession, media planning companies also have prepared for new challenges, therefore, announcing this tender, we wanted to evaluate the changes in the media planning services market and what can we expect from different companies in the market. We were looking to find companies that are adapted to the current situation, also flexible, strategically oriented and innovative media planning partners who have excellent knowledge of the retail market media planning and could ensure the lowest prices for the advertisement acquisition," says Giedrius Juozapavičius, manager of the Image and Communication Centre of MAXIMA GROUP, UAB
According to Mr Juozapavičiaus, future partners offered the most suitable tactics for the planned media strategy implementation and the lowest advertising prices to every company of MAXIMA GROUP in the three Baltic countries.
22 agencies in the Baltic countries participated in the tender announced by MAXIMA GROUP: 8 each in Lithuania and Latvia and 6 in Estonia.
"The proposals submitted by the companies have revealed different professional experience and quality of the same network of agencies in Baltic countries, while the strongest and the most prepared for a fight in the tender were Latvian media agencies," says Mr Juozapavičius.
According to the manager of the Image and Communication Centre of MAXIMA GROUP, UAB, the holding company will plan and buy advertisement in Bulgaria themselves due to the specifics of the country's media market, relatively different quality parameters for media planning than in Baltics and high prices of services.
