Management change in MAXIMA Bulgaria
Pavels Filipovs, Managing Director of MAXIMA Bulgaria EOOD, is finishing his term of office in May 14, 2009. Having worked in MAXIMA Bulgaria for 2 years and been appointed abroad several times earlier, the experienced manager is returning to work in MAXIMA GROUP companies in the Baltic States.
The Board of Directors has appointed Vygintas Šapokas as the new Managing Director of MAXIMA Bulgaria EOOD. Before the appointment Vygintas Šapokas had worked as the Director of Food and Prime Necessity Non-food Goods Purchasing Department in MAXIMA Latvia SIA for a year.
Vygintas Šapokas, Managing Director of MAXIMA Bulgaria EOOD, aged 31, Lithuanian, was born and grew up in Marijampolė, Lithuania. He received a Bachelor's degree from Institute of International Relations and Political Science at Vilnius University in 1999. His career in MAXIMA Group companies started in March 20, 2003, as a Commerce Manager. In September 1, 2006, he was appointed the Head of Merchandise Group. In May 31, 2008, he started an international career in MAXIMA Latvia SIA as the Director of Food and Prime Necessity Non-food Goods Purchasing Department where he achieved significant results in the field.
Vygintas Šapokas communicates in Lithuanian, English and Russian. He has a family and grows up 2 daughters.
