On 19 December, the Board of Maxima Grupė has appointed Jolanta Bivainytė, the CEO of the company, as the chairwoman of the company’s Board.

On 9 December, Vilniaus Prekyba made the decision to increase the number of members on Maxima Grupė’s Board of Directors from seven to eight. The Supervisory Board of Maxima Grupė then appointed a new member to the enlarged Board of Directors – Vitalij Rakovski, who is the CFO of Maxima Grupė and Chairman of the Board at Radas, the company that operates the Barbora businesses in the Baltic countries.

Maxima Grupė became a member of the United Nations (UN) Global Compact initiative. By joining the Global network operating already for two decades, Maxima Grupė commits to support 10 Global Compact principles in areas of human rights, environment, labor, and anti-corruption and embraces 17 Sustainable Development Goals that underpin UN Sustainable Development Agenda 2030.

After receiving Raimonda Kižienė’s notification of her resignation from the supervisory board of Maxima Grupė, the sole shareholder of the Company appointed Mantas Kuncaitis as the new member.
Currently the members of the Supervisory Board of the Company are Ignas Staškevičius, Evelina Černienė and Mantas Kuncaitis.

Effective 6 November, Vilma Drulienė became the CEO of the Maxima Grupė’s subsidiary MAXIMA International Sourcing. Being a member of the company’s board, V. Drulienė will also continue to serve as a Chief Commercial Officer and a member of the board at Maxima LT.
